RESTORING HEALTH AT THE ROOT
naturopathic & nutritional medicine • herbalism
I am at full capacity with my impending maternity leave around the corner. I will be finishing up in clinic at the end of November, after which time I will have an exceptional naturopath taking care of my current patients. However, it may be some time before I open my books to new patients again. You can stay in touch with my business movements by jumping on my mailing list here.
well, quite a few seasons (literally and figuratively)…and her lessons will remain with me for a lifetime. I met Claire after having endured many months of digestion-related pain. I had already received medical treatment from doctors and specialists. However, non-medicated, sustained relief seemed to be beyond my reach. I needed to change something; I didn’t know what, but connecting with a naturopath seemed to be a good start. Enter Claire. I was hopeful that I’d receive a few lessons that might help to ease my discomfort. What I didn’t anticipate was an entire transformation of thought, feeling, and being. Claire’s extensive knowledge of, and passion for, all things that nurture the sublime creations that we are is profound and genuine. Not only did she guide me back onto the path to good health, but she taught me how to stay on that path for life. Her compassion, generosity, respect, insight, encouragement, patience, and her brilliant sense of humour were all I needed and so much more. I don’t know where I’d be had I not met her, but I can place a hefty bet on the fact that I wouldn’t be half as healthy and as comfortable in my skin as I am now. Thanks, Claire, for being the divinely unique, crazy-smart, dazzling soul that you are.’ — Fiona Sproles, Graphic Designer, Copywriter & Photographer
which is so incredibly important when trusting someone with your health. She is approachable, open minded and possess an obvious passion for helping others to achieve optimum wellness.
I began working with Claire after a frustrating and unexplained health hiccup and she supported me through this with warmth, understanding and an abundance of knowledge. Since becoming pregnant I have continued to follow Claire's advice in looking after my body and ensuring I am getting the right nutrients for myself and my growing baby. I look forward to continuing my postpartum journey with Claire's support and I will be recommending her to others who seek the same path. — Shanda Lodge, Owner of Gathered, Marriage Celebrant & Mother
She has been my SHIFT health coach now for close to 4 years. I immediately felt comfortable with her and her talented way of using words to break down the client/coach barriers. The amount of links, resources, listens, reads, concoctions and advice I've lost count. Claire has guided me through a HUGE amount of phases in my life, from training (hard) and being in the best physical shape of my life, to pregnancy, to post natal anxiety to general overall health. She has seen it all. My highs and my lows. Never once have I felt that I need to hide anything from Claire. The amount of truth and wisdom bombs this woman has still continues to amaze me. I love that she can mould with me through what phase I'm at in life and help me be a better version of myself. Sooo glad I found her.’ —Kim Fairweather, Coach, Human Resource Manager & Mother
and without her guidance and direction, I wouldn't have birthed my miracle baby in 2021.
Claire is amazing. I have worked with her over a number of years, in a variety of different ways. She always seems to meet me where I am at, and together we shift into my desired goals. Claire is personable, professional and very, very committed to her role and profession. I love that Claire 'walks the walk', and always leads first to ensure she is giving us (her clients), tried and tested actions that she knows will produce our desired outcomes.
I could list of the number of ways Claire has supported and helped me, but my advice would be-dive in, allow the time, and you will get to where you desire to be.’ —Daina Crosbie, Teacher, Coach & Mother
Naturopathy is a traditional system of medicine that honours the intrinsic healing powers of the body. Within this realm we seek to identify and heal the root cause of dis-ease states to re-establish health. As a clinical practitioner, I take into consideration the entire health history of a client and understand their current lifestyle, nutrition and inner functioning to guide treatment plans. All protocols are discussed and woven into the reality of my clients life. With access to many treatment tools—from simple habit changes, functional testing, in-house botanical concoctions, to practitioner-only nutraceuticals and botanicals—naturopathy has an almost endless bag of supplies when it comes to addressing all kinds of health issues.
My mainstay pathways for working together are 1:1 naturopathy consultations and my SHIFT 1:1 program (currently at capacity).
I work online and in-person at Perth Health and Fertility.
I work online via zoom and use the Practice Better portal for all bookings, as well as this being the home of where you can download your treatment plans, upload test results, and chat to me in-real-time via the instant messaging system. Once you book your appointment, you receive a welcome package from me and a link from my system to access your video call appointment. All products are shipped either by me, or direct from the dispensary portals for all practitioner products and herbal remedies. These can take up to a week (express/courier), though usually will arrive within 3 days of purchase. In this way, you experience our consult from the comfort of your own home and have your products delivered to your door. Easy!
Each case is different, though I recommend putting around $50-200 aside for your prescription. I can, however, work within any budget and there are many ways to support your health within your means and without creating additional stressors.

Absolutely! In addition to working around and considering all medications currently prescribed, I am also happy to be apart of your medical team.
Culinary herbs can be used in everyday cooking. I would highly recommend growing herbs like sage, thyme, basil, coriander, parsley and mint in your garden to add into salads and cooking. You can also start using herbal teas to top up nutrients and hydration throughout the day too.
